Box of Rain established itself in the Flathead Valley in March of 2010. The valley had been longing for a garden center that could supply the needs for year round gardening. We started taking the appropriate steps towards filling this void in the fall of 2009. At that time there was only one store in the area that could accommodate the needs of year round gardeners. By the time that we secured a business location, four other stores had opened in the valley! We couldn’t believe it and were a bit discouraged about starting a new business during these tough economic times with so many others stores now in the area.
However, despite the new stores, we decided to continue with our plans. We felt that we could offer our fellow gardeners a different type of experience and superior products than that of the other stores. At Box of Rain we care about what we put into our bodies and the impact that we have on Mother Earth. Therefore, we carry lifetime warranted lighting systems, nutrients, soil amendments, pesticides, and fungicides that are listed with the Organic Materials Research Institute (OMRI).
We have a knowledgeable staff that can assist you in problem shooting, room design or locating any product that you may desire if we don’t have it on hand.
